Dear Mr. Kalles:

On behalf of my wife & I, I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the excellent work performed by one of your agents, Ms. Heidi Nelson. Ms. Nelson recently acted as our real estate agent and with her assistance my wife and I purchased our first home in August – a beautiful house in the Avenue Rd./Lawrence area.

Heidi was outstanding since the early stages of our looking for a home, which began about a year ago when a friend referred her to us. We were immediately impressed with Heidi’s knowledge of the Toronto housing market and with her professionalism. We got along extremely well at that initial meeting and felt that we could trust her with this very important job.

Over the next several months, we saw numerous houses with Heidi. At first, we did not know exactly what we were looking for but with each house that we saw, we began to understand more about what we needed and wanted in a house. More importantly, through her patience and guidance, Heidi helped us formulate a realistic vision of the type of house we wanted to live in.

I would be remiss if I did not comment on the first class treatment we received from Heidi. My wife and I had very high expectations of her. I am a busy criminal defense lawyer with a large practice and my wife is a busy family doctor. Whether it was meeting with her or showing us houses, Heidi worked around our schedules and tried to accommodate us as much as possible. She did a fabulous job at sending us listings for houses only after she did her own due diligence. We were amazed by how proficient she was at evaluating the numerous homes that she showed us. Throughout this entire process, we felt like she did not just want us to buy any house on the market; she wanted us to buy the right house for us.

Heidi is also well connected to various professionals in the industry. She put us in contact with a great mortgage broker, scheduled our home inspections with her most trusted home inspector, and recommended an electrician when we needed a quote prior to putting in an offer.

Putting in an offer was obviously the most stressful part of the home purchase process but Heidi’s experience and guidance allowed us to confidently make an offer on the home we wanted. Before we made the offer, Heidi gathered a lot of information about the house and about the sellers so that we made an informed offer. After we made our initial offer, Heidi advocated on our behalf and knew which arguments to make to the sellers to help win them over. The offer we made was less than what the sellers wanted but Heidi used her negotiating skills to get the sellers to agree to accept our offer.

One final point is that the purchase of this house could not have come at a better time for us. My wife is presently pregnant with twins and her due date is early February. Thanks to the wonderful work of your agent, Heidi Nelson, we now have a beautiful home to bring them home to. On her website, Heidi’s motto is: “with you all the way home” and that she certainly was. We will always think of Heidi Nelson if we ever have to move again and we will forever sing her praise to anyone who will listen.

Our decision to move back to Toronto was an easy one but we only had a month to make it all happen. We contacted our Real Estate Agent, Heidi Nelson, and within a few days she helped us find exactly what we were hoping for; a beautiful, comfortable home for the three of us.
The next few weeks we were busy selling our house in Virginia and making plans to move. Back in Toronto, Heidi kept in touch with the progress of any matters dealing with our new house as well as personal matters involving our move. Heidi put our minds at ease during our hectic pre-move month.
